I take the artist under my wing, creating goals and deadlines and making sure you stick to them.
When helping an artist create a Solo Show I tailor my technique to the person. Some people prefer finishing the piece first, others find gold through improvisation. Whether you have a “finished” show that you know needs work, or only a vague idea of what you want to say – after 3 decades of writing and performing and a decade of helping writers find their voice and their stories – I know the right questions to ask to help you uncover the story you’re dying to tell.
*Expiration dates ensure that the writer/performer breaks through any resistance he or she might have about completing the show. Extensions are possible in extraordinary circumstances.
